Tools

The tools that I use on my Macbook are located in brew.sh and cask.sh.
You can find my dotfiles here at https://github.com/jmslbam/dotfiles.

What you can’t find there is that I use Pixelmator and Gapplin which are install via the AppStore.

Webdevelopment

I use WordPress to build websites which use PHP8, Git, Composer, NPM, Gulp, SASS or Laravel Mix and Twig via Clarkson. And of course the great WP-CLI.

Some of the plugin I prefer to work with are WooCommerce, Gravity Forms, Advanced Custom Fields, FacetWP, SearchWP, Mollie, MLP and WeGlot. When not building custom build sites I use the Block editor (Gutenberg) and GeneratePress Premium.

Site optimalisation

For Image optimisation I use ShortPixel or the built in feature within Cloudflare/BunnyCDN and for other front-end optimalisations and caching I use WP Rocket which is great!

Hosting

For smaller projects I use the stable and complete hosting of Kinsta.

For advanced, high-end, superfast hosting and affordable hosting I use ManagedWPhosting.nl. I’m running a couple of very heavy projects on their NVME VPS’s without any issues.

Deployment

To deploy website in 1-click I use DeployHQ in combination with SSH.

Monitoring

Other tools that I use are UpTime to monitor if sites are still running.
